SHERNI
Sherni is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language thriller film directed by Amit V. Masurkar and produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The film stars Vidya Balan in the leading role of an Indian Forest Service officer, alongside Sharat Saxena, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, Neeraj Kabi and Mukul Chaddha in supporting roles. The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 18 June 2021.
SARDAR UDHAM SINGH
Sardar Udham is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language biographical historical drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works. The screenplay is written by Shubhendu Bhattacharya and Ritesh Shah, who also wrote the dialogues for the film. Based on the life of Udham Singh, a freedom fighter from Punjab who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, the film starred Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, along with Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Amol Parashar, Banita Sandhu and Kirsty Averton in supporting roles.
SAAHO
Saaho is a 2019 Indian action thriller film written and directed by Sujeeth, and produced by UV Creations. Filmed simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages, it stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, marking the former's Hindi debut and the latter's debut in South Indian cinema. The film also has Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay and Neil Nitin Mukesh in other prominent roles. The film follows an undercover agent and his partner as they go after a thief who has stolen ₹2,000 crore (US$270 million). Soon, they realise that the case is linked to the death of a crime lord and an emerging gang war.
PM NARENDRA MODI
PM Narendra Modi is a 2019 Hindi-language biographical drama film directed by Omung Kumar, and written by Anirudh Chawla and Vivek Oberoi. The film is jointly produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandip Ssingh, Anand Pandit, Acharya Manish under the banner of Legend Studios. The film's plot is loosely based on the life of Narendra Modi, the 14th Prime Minister of India.
BALA
Bala is a 2020 Hindi-language satirical black comedy film directed by Amar Kaushik, written by Niren Bhatt, co-written by Ravi Muppa, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, based on an original story by Bengali film director Pavel Bhattacharjee about the life of Rohit Sood. Ayushmann Khurrana stars as the titular character, Balmukund Shukla, a young man living in Kanpur who is suffering from male pattern baldness, and the story is about his lack of confidence and societal pressure that comes with premature balding. Another theme in the film is colourism. Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, and Seema Pahwa feature in supporting roles.
SAAND KI AANKH
Saand Ki Aankh is a 2019 Indian biographical drama film directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar. The film features Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar and Prakash Jha in the lead roles, it also features Pawan Chopra, Vineet Kumar Singh and Shaad Randhawa in the supporting roles. It is based on the lives of sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. Filming began on 10 February 2019 in Baghpat. Some parts were filmed in Hastinapur and Mawana. It was released on 25 October 2019, coinciding with the Diwali festival.
DREAM GIRL
Dream Girl is an Indian Hindi-language comedy film backed by Balaji Motion Pictures in collaboration with ALT Entertainment. The film was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and distributed by Pen India Limited. Ayushmann Khurrana plays a cross-gender actor whose female voice impersonation begets attention from others. The film talks about depression and loneliness. It also features Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Banerjee, Raj Bhansali and Nidhi Bisht in supporting roles.[8] Incidentally, the film was originally titled as Googly.
MALANG
Malang is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Mohit Suri and produced by T-Series in collaboration with Luv Films and Northern Lights Entertainment with distribution by Yash Raj Films. It stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Khemu. The shooting began in March 2019 and took place primarily in Goa, but it was also filmed in Mauritius. Final schedule was wrapped up in October 2019.
CHHALAANG
Chhalaang is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language sports black comedy film directed by Hansal Mehta. It is produced by Ajay Devgan, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg and presented by Bhushan Kumar. Chhalaang stars Rajkummar Rao, Nushrat Bharucha and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Principal photography commenced in last quarter of 2018. Initially named Turram Khan, Chhalaang was wrapped up in August 2019. Initially scheduled for a theatrical premiere, it was directly released online on Amazon Prime Video on 13 November 2020, coinciding with Diwali.
